NOURA HOMES COMMUNITY FUND

IN 2017 HOOSHANG & JAMILEH ESTABLISHED A DONOR-ADVISED FUND WITH THE COQUITLAM FOUNDATION IN CELEBRATION OF NOURA’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY.

Noura Homes Community Fund’s purpose is to improve the quality of life and provide assistance to residents in Tri-Cities communities by providing financial assistance:

  • For and in support of women and children in need and requiring shelter, clothing and food or other support services, and to foster recovery, independence, education, and skills training to become self-supporting;
  • For and in support of those with mental health challenges;
  • To students through scholarships for attendance at post-secondary institutions or career training programs, particularly students pursuing training in the construction trades;
  • For charitable programs that address a need of residents in the Tri-Cities communities.

ABOUT THE COQUITLAM FOUNDATION

The Coquitlam Foundation manages $2.9 million in 30 foundation-directed and donor-advised funds. The foundation always welcomes donations to any of its funds, which can be made through its website, www.coquitlamfoundation.com. As well, the foundation invites interested individuals or organizations to consider establishing a fund with the foundation. Legacy and estate donations are also welcome. The Coquitlam Foundation is registered with Canada Revenue as a charitable organization.
